The "Sweetest Day the Jeep Way" promotion


A yummy-yucky kind of way to promote Jeep.

I am not sure where this took place. Contestants had to write an essay, then after that the ones selected had to lick of chocolate off chocolate covered Jeeps. And after that, the finalists went into the car looking for the car key in between 45,000 chocolate pieces. What a way of promoting!! Never seen something like this before.

What's the objective of this campaign? Promoting the Jeep or trying the chocolate :)? Is there any brand for the chocolate? Is it kind of cross-promotion?

I love chocolate! i would definately have some of it! lol im sure they washed the cars before doing that! But what if people got food poisoning? then they'd have to spend alot on PR to fix it! What a risky yet creative way to develop loyalty AND advertise!
