The Agency of the year at Dubai Lynx

FP7 Doha was in second place, and Promoseven Dubai came in 3rd.

Agencies in the UAE displayed the depth of talent here by winning 127 of the 180 trophies on offer. Qatar finished with the second highest number of trophies with 18, Lebanon won 12 and Egypt won 7 awards.

1st International Advertising Festival in DUBAI !!

Dubai will host its first international advertising festival from March 31 to April 2, reported Gulf News. The festival, which will be presented by Cannes Lions, will incorporate the second Dubai Lynx Awards, which started last year to recognise creative talents in the Middle East and North Africa region. The Cannes Lions chose Dubai as the first of its regional festivals outside Europe because of its growing GDP and rising advertising and marketing spend, said Philip Thomas, chief executive of Cannes Lions.
